With how the current Chelsea team is playing now, it is hard to think that there is any team out there they can’t compete against. The Blues have experienced a massive turnaround since the appointment of Thomas Tuchel as their manager and things have worked remarkably in their favor as well. With their chase for a top-four finish still very much alive, they have exceeded expectations ever since the German manager was announced as their new boss.

The Stamford Bridge outfit have booked their ticket to this season’s UEFA Champions League final which they will be playing against league rivals Manchester City. They had to see off the likes of Portuguese side FC Porto, as well as Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid. It’s very interesting because a lot of people already ruled them out as soon as they draw for the knockout rounds of the competition was made, but they have proven their doubters wrong and have earned themselves a well-deserved spot in the final of the competition this season.

And Micah Richards, a former Manchester City defender, has said that even though he believes his former side are a better bet to win the title this season, The Blues have improved so surprisingly and can harm the Citizens in the final.

Chelsea are currently in two finals and will play the Champions League grand finale against City while they will take on Leicester City in the final of the FA Cup. They now have a better chance of winning two trophies this season and according to their manager Thomas Tuchel, they will place huge importance on the two ties which they will play later this month. Richard said he would not have thought Chelsea could be this good when Lampard was still in charge.
