As the Premier League continues progressing, there are some teams that are making a genuine charge for the title and this is the case of Leicester City which has shocked Europe after having gone through a very successful and impressive season in the Premier League, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are all of the remaining teams that are located at the top of the English League.

There are some other teams that are just aiming and hoping that they can continue performing in the Premier League and avoid the bottom relegation zone, one of these clubs is Aston Villa which have only been able to win 2 league games from the opening 24 matches that have been played so far and are located in the very bottom of the Premier League with 13 points.

The captain of Aston Villa, Micah Richards doesn’t want to give up on this season as he still has faith that his team can escape the relegation spots and survive in the Premier League for at least another season.

“We have the fighting spirit. We have 14 games now and we will give 100 percent until the end. Until it’s mathematically impossible, I will not rule us out. We know it will be hard. I am a realist too. I think we need three wins on the bounce and then things start to change’’

“A lot of people have said that the players don’t care. I think we showed at West Ham that we fight until the end whether we have 11 or 10 men on the pitch. We did that, but unfortunately we didn’t get anything out of the game.” Aston Villa’s Micah Richards said as he wrote on the official website of his club and stated that there still is a chance of rescuing the season.
